FAQ

1. How do I order?

Just select the style of bag you require from our product pages & contact us by email, telephone, or by completing our online enquiry form and we will prepare a quotation.

See the How to Order page for more details.

2. What form of payment do you accept?

We accept payment by direct bank deposit or EFT, and by cheque. Payment details are provided on the invoice.

See the How to Order page for more details.

3. Can you print my logo?

Yes, our printing is done in China at very economical rates. See the How to Order page for more details.

4. What format do you prefer for artwork files?

In order to prevent delays and minimise costs, print ready artwork in high resolution CMYK pdf or tiff formats are preferred. However vector formats such as ai files and eps files may be used if converted to CMYK and supplied with all fonts. See the How to Order page for more details.

5. Can you modify or improve artwork?

Yes, depending upon what you require, but excessive modifications to artwork will increase your costs. If you provide print ready artwork then costs and delays will be minimized. See the How to Order page for more details.

6. How long does delivery take?

Sea freight usually takes 6-8 weeks after payment of deposit for Australian orders but for other countries it may take 10-12 weeks, depending upon location. Rush delivery by air usually takes 2-4 weeks. These times may vary at different times of the year and according to the reusable bag fabric you have chosen, the size of your order and production commitments. See the How to Order page for more details.

7. Do you guarantee the quality of your bags?

Yes, we stand behind our products 100%. We use quality new fabric unless clients request otherwise, and ensure the quality of our products at each step of the production process. To check the quality of our products you may request a pre-production sample. See the Why Choose Us page for more details about product quality.

8. Do you offer refunds?

Yes, if we visually confirm and quantify a manufacturing fault we will ask you whether you prefer a part refund or additional replacement bags. If your complaint is found to be justified we will work with you to promptly resolve the issue. If you are not happy, we are not happy.

9. What material are your bags made from?

Our most popular bags are made from non woven polypropylene (NWPP), a relatively environmentally friendly plastic such as is used to produce the popular supermarket green bags. We also supply bags made from the natural fibres, cotton & jute.

10. What are the advantages of non woven polypropylene?

NWPP is relatively cheap yet it is durable, water resistant, strong, recyclable, and can be easily printed. It also degrades more readily in the environment than many other plastics.

11. Are NWPP bags biodegradable and compostable?

No. They degrade into minute pieces of plastic but they are not biodegradable or compostable.

12. Which bag material is most environmentally friendly?

Natural jute is one of the most environmentally friendly fabrics for reusable bags but most commonly used materials have their advantages and disadvantages. NWPP is a product of the petrochemical industry and although it is not biodegradable or compostable it is not so environmentally hazardous as many other plastics since it does degrade into minute pieces of plastic. Although it is recyclable, in practice very few bags are actually recycled. Whereas cotton or calico is a natural fibre which is biodegradable and compostable the growth of cotton does use considerable resources. Organic cotton is much more preferable to conventional cotton.

See the Jute or Polypropylene page for more details about the advantages of natural jute bags.

We know consumers seek environmentally friendly options in their packaging and jute is the perfect natural fibre to offer as a shopping bag alternative for independent greengrocers in Brisbane.

After researching suppliers, we found Graham at Albury Enviro Bags to be extremely knowledgeable on this emerging product and his control of the purchase process from proof to delivery was handled with professionalism and ease.

Our ‘Fresh Tastes’ produce bags have been a hit on the streets of Brisbane and we could not be happier - evidenced by our recent third major order.

Hi Anne,

So sorry to be out of contact. We have been exhibiting at an Expo this week and have been totally consumed by that, as you can imagine. We certainly do still want the 2500 bags via sea. The bags that you have delivered are just wonderful and absolutely perfect for our needs. We are so appreciative of all your hard work in turning them around so quickly. The result you have achieved in such a short space of time is stunning. Thanks so very much. You should receive balance of payment for 600 bags already delivered plus 50% of 2500 bags by sea very soon. I have sent advice to our Accountant to process the payment as soon as possible.

Cheers,

Hi Graham,

Hope you enjoyed your weekend.

I would like to thank you for helping make this job possible. There were a lot of quote changes at the beginning and a tight deadline to work to but we managed to pull it together. The client was so impressed and happy with the job they are looking order more for the future. I will make them aware we can’t keep working to this sort of time frame.

Thanks,

Hi Anne,

I received the bags last week and they are absolutely wonderful! The logo is crisp and clear, the base is perfect and the whole look of the bag is excellent. Thank you so much for all your attention to this order, and I will be in contact in a year or so for more bags.

Kind regards

Dear Graham,

I wanted to write to thank you personally for going the extra mile to ensure the bags we ordered from you for the Orange Region Farmers Market arrived in time for the 10 year Birthday celebrations, for the market on Saturday, 14th April.

You truly made my day when I saw your car on the driveway and the bags being delivered in readiness for the following day.

As you saw on the Saturday morning the bags were eagerly taken up by visitors, customers, stallholders and Rotary members and it was indeed very satisfying seeing them in circulation. They continued to be sold during F.O.O.D Week appearing at Farm Gate Tours, F.O.O.D Affair and The Producers Lunch amongst other events and venues.

They look great and Willa Arantz’s showcased beautifully on the bags. We are getting great comments not only about the artwork but also the design and quality of the bag and how practical they are, so I also wanted to pass on that feedback to you.

Yours sincerely,

Cath Thompson - Market Manager, Orange Region Farmers Market
